Tiger Woods : BORN TO WIN

Tiger became the first ever to hold all four professional major championships. An historic record!!!

Biography and identity card

Tiger woods (born Eldrick Tiger Woods) was born on 30 december 1975, in California. Woods was a child prodigy who began to play golf at the age of two, at 17 years old he became professional.

BUT WHY TIGER ? he got his nickname from a Vietnamese soldier friend of his father. On his twenty-first birthday, Woods legally changed his name from Eldrick to Tiger.

Currently the n°1 , Woods was the highest paid professional athlete in 2006, having earned an estimated $100 million from winnings. But Woods has established several charitable and youth projects : the Tiger woods foundation. The Tiger Woods Foundation was established in 1996 by Woods and his father Earl. It focuses on projects for children.

Career

Tiger has an unprecedented career since becoming a professional golfer in the late summer of 1996. He has won 81 tournaments, 61 of those on the PGA TOUR, including the 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005 Masters Tournaments, 1999, 2000, 2006 and 2007 PGA Championships, 2000 and 2002 U.S. Open Championships, and 2000, 2005 and 2006 British Open Championships. With his second Masters victory in 2001.

Tiger became the first ever to hold all four professional major championships at the same time. He is the career victories leader among active players on the PGA TOUR. In my mind this year, no one can win against Tiger woods.

My opinion about TIGER WOODS

For me, Tiger Woods is a humble man, courteous, generous, giving athlete that has helped more kids in North America through his Tiger Woods Foundation and the Target relationship (I think over a million now) of "getting something started" than all other professional athletes put together have ever done "COLLECTIVELY" before-all time. This man is an exemple for everybody.

I think when Tiger Woods stopped to play golf, everybody said he was the best player of golf history.

Finally I think, Tiger Woods is to Golf what Albert Einstein was to Physics.....brilliant
